Welcome Ski Season 2013-2014

Snow has arrived at Brian Head, and that means ski season is officially here!  We headed to the condo the weekend before opening day and enjoyed several days in the fresh powder sledding and playing and relaxing in front of the fire.

There was some perfect powder on the hill in front of the condo.  Just right for hours of sledding.
In the spring this will be a fishing pond with a walking trail, picnic tables and BBQs, and two beach areas.  Next winter we hope to be able to ice skate on it!
Even babies enjoy Brian Head!
Nothing makes our day complete like a roaring fire and some good 'ol S'mores.
Playing games while we warm up by the fire.
We had an awesome night of fireworks to kick off ski season.  It is shaping up to be a great one!

We hope you'll make Evergreens B1 your home away from home this ski season in Brian Head, Utah!

Winter on the Mountain

No winter is complete without a trip up to Brian Head for ski season.  This year we took several trips, and enjoyed lots of time out on the slopes.

Young and old alike can enjoy the amazing powder that only Southern Utah can offer.  Brian Head Resort offers amazing prices on ski and snowboarding rentals and lessons.  They have great deals on kids camps and childcare as well, so no need to worry about leaving your little ones behind when you head up the mountain!

One of the perks of our location is having access to the Brian Head shuttle.  Just call the driver and wait by the door with your gear ready... in no time at all, you'll be shuttled to the location of your choosing, be it a local lodge, ski store, or the slopes.  No need to warm up your car or fret about getting it full of snow from your boots, the shuttle will get you where you need to be when you need to be there!

 Enjoying the fresh snowfall!
Shuttle ride to his first ski lessons.
 Ready to go!
Every ski instructor he had this season was so patient and kind.  He had a blast!
 Enjoying the slopes with Dad.
 Enjoying the tubing park.
Two straight hours of tubing and still he wanted to do more!

We even found time for some sledding on a small hill near the condo.
Hanging out after the slopes closed for the evening.  To the left corner you can see the deck of our condo.  We had the best winter enjoying the slopes and beauty of Brian Head!

Summer on the Mountain

We had a fantastic summer staying at our condo in Brian Head.  We rode bikes, hiked in Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks, and spent many evenings playing games in front of a crackling fire.  A week at the condo sure beats the triple-digit temps back home!
Card games and snacks by the fire.
Helping make dinner at the kitchen counter.
Ready for a ride up the ski lift!
Enjoying a beautiful creek just a few miles from the condo.
Brian Head Lookout... breathtaking!
Evening bike rides around the parking lot and to the park.
Cooling off at Zion National Park.
Dinner at a Buffalo Ranch after a long day of hiking.
Bryce Canyon National Park... a must see!
Enjoying the play equipment at the park.
We're always happy to arrive and always sad to have to go.  We can't wait for our next trip up the mountain!
